"I'd bought the Oddity and Imposcar a few months ago and couldn't believe how great they were (the Oddity in particular is being used quite a bit on my new record). Then Alan Moulder shows up to work with me and immediately demands I check out the Quad Fromage (which somehow I was unaware of) and well, the rest is history. Really excellent tools that have been inspiring to work with - thanks."

"We (Halou) have worked on countless tracks for both our records and other artists and the one thing we spend the most time on is making sounds less generic. Its as if they were designed just for me! All of those hours spent tweaking couple have been reduced to a few seconds with these plug ins. Great stuff!"

Myagi aka Andrew Mavor

"Ohm Force have always produced some of what I feel are the best plugs on the market. Their effects excel at their intended application, be it a filter module, distortion, etc, but also cross boundaries and become almost instruments in their own right. As an example, the Predatohm is a distortion plug sure, but you can modulate the frequencies of the distortion bands to the point where it behaves sonically like a filter... The QuadFromage is the best filter plugin I've ever used, and its modulation possibilities make it essential for serious sound mangling...if you find you need to really push a sound way "out there," this is your go to. Totally brilliant."

Myagi, top DJ and producer, remixed Orbital, Crystal Method and Phil Hartnoll.

Hector Castillo

Damian Taylor

"I really like Ohm Force plugs. I mean I REALLY like them! It's not just that I like them, I enjoy using them, I love the results I get, and I've come to depend on them to take my sounds into a place they weren't before.
I've spent years tweaking in the digital domain and have found that the plugs I use fall broadly into two categories. There's the utility type plug-ins; the standard array of eqs, dynamics, delays etc, which I use to simply shape, fit, and hold my sounds together. Then there's the creative type plugs, the array of tools I use to spin a sound around, turn it inside out, freak it out, or often just to give it a character that it lacked before. Among the finest of these is everything by Ohm Force.
The creative and unusual approach which is so obviously taken by everyone at Ohm Force is a huge breath of fresh air. I love the fact that their plugs give me that feeling of "something crazy could happen!" when I fire them up and start tweaking. However they also understand that for a plug to be useable it has to be responsive in the right way - so rather than a whole bunch of random noise erupting every time a parameter is changed, you get a continuous, usable change which is both easily and precisely tweakable. You can turn your sounds inside out, but then make sure those edges line up perfectly to the rest of your track.
The user interfaces continue this feel - totally unconventional and fun to use, but still giving all the right feedback and right control in an accessible way. If I want to drop into a creative space then the last thing I want to deal with is an obscure, unintelligble, and overwhelming array of sliders and numbers. Ohm Force have managed to make interfaces which present a vast amount of information and controlability in a streamlined and enjoyable package.
Most important though is the sound. If I just wanted pretty flashing lights I'd turn off the sequencer and go watch a movie! I'm happy to say the user interface is simply the icing on a really tasty cake. Their plugs are all versatile, unique, and full of character. I can make the wildest or subtlest changes to my sounds, and I've consistently found that those tweaks stay with me and make it to the final master. So often with other plugs I dial up something which is gratifying in the moment of its creation, but which I wind up struggling with as production continues until I either take the plug off or ditch the sound completely.
So in summary Ohm Force know how to make plugs which are original, distinctive, fun to use, and give great results. I use their entire line and love every single plug for each of their different qualities. And I'm always looking forward to seeing what they'll come up with next!"

Damian Taylor is a producer/engineer, who worked among others with Bjork, Unkle...
